But we would also like to appeal to your marketing expert head, and so we want to take you behind the scenes and show you the creative intelligence behind some of our campaigns - and some that doesn't lead to anything like the traditional idea of creative.

Direct Marketing Association: Why would you join the Direct Marketing Association? Ask them and they used to give you fifty reasons. All of which were good, but somewhat diffuse and not really expressed as benefits.

We applied some creative intelligence to this and corralled the features into three groups of benefits: protection, intelligence and growth. From there it was short step to finding a series of single images that visually communicated the one big benefit under the heading 'The Power of Association'.
